Emma Shaw, Art & Design Assistant

Emma Shoshanna Shaw joined Simon & Schuster in 2023 as the assistant to art directors Jackie Seow and Martha Kennedy. She is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she previously worked at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. She received her MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Studio Art and English from Gettysburg College.

In addition to managing cover rights and permissions for the Simon & Schuster and Saga Press imprints, Emma researches art and photography for titles across a variety of genres. Her illustration work can be found on the cover of Secure Love by Julie Menanno.
