Brittany Adames, Assistant Editor

Brittany Adames joined Simon & Schuster in 2020 after interning at Atria Books and W.W. Norton & Company. She acquires literary, upmarket, and select commercial/suspense fiction, with a particular interest in voice-driven work that interrogates Latinidad, class, queerness, power, and desire. She also seeks incisive nonfiction from cultural tastemakers who have something new to reveal about the human condition. Brittany graduated with a degree in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College and an MFA in poetry from Brooklyn College. She supports Olivia Taylor Smith and Ian Straus.
