Sarah Schlick

Sarah joined Gallery Books in October 2022. Prior to joining the Gallery team, she worked with a graphic novel publisher/multimedia entertainment studio, literary nonprofit House of SpeakEasy, and two literary agencies. She is also a freelance artist and illustrator. She earned her BA in English from Yale University and spent several years working in art conservation for Yale’s art museums and as a research associate with the Yale Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage. Sarah enjoys reading widely across genres and is drawn to books with bold ideas, lush language, and a unique narrative voice. She supports Hannah Braaten and Ed Schlesinger.
