Sally Marvin
Vice President and Director of Publicity and Marketing
Sally Marvin joined Gallery Publishing Group as Vice President, Director of Publicity and Marketing, in July 2019. In this role Sally oversees both the Gallery publicity and marketing teams, sets strategies for campaigns, and represents Gallery and its various imprints to the larger Simon & Schuster group, national media contacts, and influencer platforms. She has led the campaigns for the New York Times bestsellers, Taste by Stanley Tucci and The Woman in Me by Britney Spears.

She began her publishing career at Ballantine Books, joined Random House Publicity as Assistant Director in 1997 and in 2006 became the imprint’s Publicity Director. Her publicity work helped to create some of Random House’s most beloved bestsellers, including Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken and Seabiscuit; Elizabeth Strout’s debut, Amy & Isabelle; Charles Duhigg’s The Power of Habit; and When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi. Sally has also worked with numerous New York Times bestselling authors including Alan Alda, Maya Angelou, Christopher Buckley, Grace Coddington, Katie Couric, Jane Fonda, David Frum, Alan Furst, John Irving, Diane Keaton, Tracy Kidder, Robert Kurson, Jon Meacham, Richard Perle, Anna Quindlen, Tim Russert, and Lee and Bob Woodruff.
