Molly has been with the Gallery team since 2016, following a features internship at Cosmopolitan magazine. She grew up devouring celebrity news in tandem with great literary classics, and she continues to bring a love of both to her list today. She acquires celebrity, pop culture, humor, platform-based cookbooks, and commercial fiction, which ranges from smart romantic comedies and book club to psychological thrillers and horror written by and for women. Whether fiction or nonfiction, Molly looks for projects that tap into the cultural zeitgeist, expand conversations about our world, and make even the most difficult topics accessible and entertaining. She is deeply drawn to stories about the complexities of women's lives, found family, and how we can come of age at every stage of life. Most of all, she loves a strong voice that makes her laugh and that reminds her of the beauty of being human, in all of its messy wonder.
Highlights on Molly's eclectic list includes the New York Times bestsellers The Pasta Queen by Nadia Caterina Munno and The Summer of Songbirds and Christmas in Peachtree Bluff, both by Kristy Woodson Harvey, the national bestseller Wear the Damn Mask by Izzy the Frenchie, and Karamo by Queer Eye star Karamo Brown. Other recent and forthcoming titles include Miranda in Retrograde by New York Times bestselling author Lauren Layne, The Bookshop of Hidden Dreams by New York Times bestselling author Karen Hawkins, Bearer of Bad News by Elisabeth Dini, and The Second Coming by Carter Sherman.
