Hydia joined Pocket Books/Gallery in July 2026. Prior to joining the Gallery team, Hydia came to Simon & Schuster in 2022 through the Associate’s Program and joined the editorial team at Emily Bestler Books/Atria in September 2023. A broad reader she enjoys reading widely across genres and is drawn to books with crossover appeal. With a lifelong love of all things morbid, she is acquiring dark and paranormal romance, romantic thrillers, and horror with atmospheric writing, dynamic plots, and nuanced characters. She grew up in Bermuda and holds a BA in English from Howard University.
