Meet the team

Gaitana Jaramillo joined Gallery Books in December 2020 after graduating from NYU with a Bachelor’s in Media, Culture and Communications. Before Gallery, Gaitana interned at Hachette Book Group and Books & Books. Obsessed with creative personal nonfiction, she hopes her work at the Publisher’s Office will bring more great stories and voices to readers all around the country. Outside of work you can find her shopping at a local thrift shop, attending hole in the wall art exhibits or dancing to electronic music. Some of her favorite indie booksellers in NYC include Book Club Bar, Spoonbill & Sugartown Booksellers and McNally Jackson (specifically the Williamsburg location). She assists Jennifer Long and Eliza Hanson.
