Meet the team

Eliza Hanson joined the Gallery Books Group in 2017. As Associate Publisher, Eliza manages many strategic aspects of Gallery’s frontlist including monitoring account distribution, co-op and inventory needs, optimizing metadata and selling materials, and coordinating all media tie-in opportunities and eBook discounting. Eliza also oversees trade paperback and reissue publishing and independently manages inventory for Gallery’s robust backlist.

In 2024, Eliza led the integration of Lemonada Books—a co-publishing partnership with Lemonada Media—and serves as the primary liaison between the Lemonada team and Gallery Books. Lemonada Books’ inaugural list includes titles from David Duchovny and Stephanie Wittels-Wachs. 

Prior to joining Gallery, Eliza spent her early career with Vintage/Anchor in the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Colgate University. Originally from the Berkshire foothills, she can often be found outdoors: skiing, running, hiking, biking—or with a good book in a park.
