Clara Linhoff joined Gallery Books / Threshold Editions in 2024. Prior to joining the Simon & Schuster team, she was an editorial assistant at Diversion Books and completed an internship with Deep Vellum Books. She graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Professional Writing and minors in Italian and Classical Guitar. While in school, Clara interned at Oklahoma Today magazine and contributed articles to the campus Crimson Quarterly magazine. She then started her professional career as a copywriter for the Hobby Lobby Corporation.

Clara is passionate about building a dynamic nonfiction list that amplifies a wide range of voices and perspectives, with a particular emphasis in raising women’s voices. Her interests include topics such as sports, politics, journalism, pop culture/culture, travel, memoir/biography, and history. She also has a deep love for commercial fiction, particularly mysteries and thrillers. Clara looks for strong, voice-driven narratives that transport readers into the world of the book and resonates with diverse audiences. She supports Natasha Simons.
