Anh Schluep joined Pocket Books as Vice President, Editorial Director & Deputy Publisher on July 1, 2026. In this role, she will lead the strategic vision and editorial direction of Pocket, re-establishing the imprint as a leader in commercial fiction publishing, with a key focus on romance, and as the top choice for bestselling entrepreneurial authors.

She was previously at Amazon Publishing, where she was Associate Publisher of Montlake, Skyscape, and 47 North imprints. During her fifteen-year tenure at Amazon, she helped launch and build Montlake, a wildly successful romance line, where she published #1 New York Times bestselling authors Colleen Hoover, Devney Perry, Rebecca Yarros, Jeneva Rose, and Sylvia Day, among others. Prior to growing Amazon Publishing’s business, Schluep was in sales at Penguin Random House. Along with core romance, Pocket publishes romantic thrillers, dark romance, and horror.
