Meet the team

Aimée Bell joined the Gallery Books Group as Vice President and Editorial Director in April 2018 after twenty-five years at Vanity Fair, where she served both as Deputy Editor and Books Editor. Her writers there included the award-winning columnists Christopher Hitchens and James Wolcott. She is primarily acquiring nonfiction.

Her evolving list includes Leave the Gun, Take the Cannoli by Mark Seal; You Can’t Be Serious by Kal Penn; Brothers and Wives by Christopher Andersen; and The Problem with Everything by Meghan Daum. The New York Times bestsellers on her list are Melania and Me by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff; Beautiful Things by Hunter Biden; Vegan, at Times by Jessica Seinfeld; My Travels with Mrs. Kennedy by Clint Hill and Lisa McCubbin Hill; My Friend Anna: The True Story of a Fake Heiress by Rachel DeLoache Williams; and Straight Shooter by Stephen A.
