Meet the team

Abby DeGasperis joined Gallery Books in August 2024. Prior to joining, Abby attended the Columbia Publishing Course in the summer leading up to her position at Gallery after graduating from Wake Forest University with Honors in English and a double minor in Classical Studies and Interdisciplinary Writing. While completing her undergraduate degree, she held editorial roles at the school’s writing center and student-led magazine in addition to serving as a library ambassador. Her internship with Eifrig Publishing developing publicity content, conducting market research, and maintaining media contacts drew her to publicity. After working as a bookseller at an independent bookstore for six years, Abby fell in love with reading across all genres with an emphasis on strong voices. She supports Jennifer Robinson and Lauren Carr.
