Sophia Benz, Editorial Assistant
Sophia Benz joined Simon & Schuster in January, 2023 after graduating with honors from The New School with a degree in Performing Arts and a minor in Journalism and Design. She was the 2021-2022 Editor-in-Chief of The New School’s literary magazine The 12th Street Journal and was a part of the Riggio Honors: Writing and Democracy Program. Sophia assists Senior Editor Carina Guiterman and Senior Editor Yahdon Israel. She hails from Honolulu, Hawai`i and loves to read anything related to historical fiction and magical realism.
