Martha Kennedy, Senior Art Director

Martha Kennedy joined Simon & Schuster in 2023 as a co-art director for the Simon & Schuster list. Previously she has worked as an art director for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and a designer at Candlewick Press and Little, Brown. Her work has been recognized in the AIGA 50/50 Show, the AIGA Bone Show, the New England Book Show, and the PRINT Regional Design Annual. It has also been featured in Spine Magazine’s Book Covers We Love, The Casual Optimist, and LitHub’s Best Book Covers of the Month. She grew up in Boston and Nova Scotia and received her B.S. in Biology at Yale University.
