Brittany Adames, Assistant Editor

Brittany Adames joined Simon & Schuster in 2020, after completing internships at Atria of Simon & Schuster and W.W. Norton & Company. She graduated with a degree in Writing, Literature, Publishing from Emerson College and an MFA in poetry from Brooklyn College. She is seeking narrative-driven stories by women and authors of color exploring the Caribbean and Latinidad, queerness, and class, as well as incisive nonfiction books from cultural tastemakers who have something new to reveal about the human condition. Brittany assists Vice President and Executive Editor Stephanie Frerich and Senior Editor Olivia Taylor Smith.
